Burmese & Myanmar Translation Singapore

Myanmar birth certificates are issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. They are written entirely in Myanmar script (Burmese) and record the child's name, date of birth, parents' names, township, and registration number. ICA Singapore requires a certified English translation of the Myanmar birth certificate for PR applications, Dependent Pass, LTVP, and MOE school enrolment.

Myanmar birth certificates can vary significantly in format depending on the state or region of issue and the year of registration. Older documents may use different date formats (Myanmar calendar or Burmese Era) which our translators convert accurately to the Gregorian calendar with a clear notation.

The Myanmar Household Registration (Form 66 or အိမ်ထောင်စုဇယား) is the family registration document that records all household members: their full names, dates of birth, national ID numbers, and relationships. Myanmar marriage certificates are issued by the township GAD office. They record the names, ages, and parents of both parties, along with witnesses and the registration date. For Dependent Pass applications, ICA requires a certified English translation of the Myanmar marriage certificate. ROM requires it for registering a Myanmar-origin marriage in Singapore.

Myanmar divorce certificates (ကွာရှင်းပြတ်စဲကြောင်း လက်မှတ်) are required by ICA and ROM when either party has been previously married. We provide same-day certified translations of both documents.
